The passing of Marcia Kay Smith of Girard, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 10, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by : her parents, Keith Hart and Evelyn Hart (Taylor); her husband Clifford "Cliff" Smith; and her sons, Scott and Barry Smith.

She is survived by : her daughter Sheila Hoskins (Gary) of Girard; her grandchildren, Chad Jessen, Josh Smith, Wesley Smith, Jennifer Smith, Kristin Smith, Shane Jessen and Wade Smith; and her sister Penny Bandor of Springfield. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home (220 W Jefferson St, Girard, IL 62640). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
