We are sad to announce that, on February 5, 2026, at the age of 81, Wendell Dale Sutton of Girard, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. and Mary I. Sutton (Fox); his siblings, Virgil, Wayne Sutton and Violet Sutton; his stepsiblings, Hilda Bettis, Glenn Miller, Stanley Miller and Linda Lopez; and his stepmothers, Evelyn Sutton (Miller) and Louise Sutton (Wright).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Snedigar-Sutton of Girard, IL; his stepsons, Darrell Snedigar of Machesney Park, IL and Don Snedigar of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Christopher and Samantha Snedigar; his brother Henry Sutton (Karen) of Girard, IL; and his stepsiblings, Jake Miller (Barb) and Mary Carter (Keith) of Vandalia, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
