He was predeceased by: his parents, David Murphy and Christine Jean Murphy; his brothers, David L. Murphy (Judith Murphy-Hayes) and Kenneth E. Murphy (late Pamela); and his in-laws, Harold and Irma Rados.
He is survived by: his wife Darlyn; his children, Jennifer Alvarado (Geovanny), Timothy Murphy (Maria) and Tom Murphy (Emily); his grandchildren, Aidan, Charlie Alvarado, Matthew, Patrick Murphy, Daniel Murphy and Caroline Shreve; and his brother-in-law Robert Rados (Charlotte). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
