Wehrend of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Yorktown, Iowa, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Behrhorst and Frieda Behrhorst; her stepmother Emma Behrhorst (Alfred T. Otto Wehrend); her daughter-in-law Karen Wehrend; her brothers, Herbert Behrhorst and Wayne Behrhorst; and her sisters-in-law, Alice Behrhorst and Gertrude Behrhorst.
She is survived by : her husband Alfred T. O. Wehrend; her children, Wesley W. Wehrend of Lilburn, GA, Darrell D. Wehrend (Annette) of Wheaton, IL and Shirley J. Besel (Gordon) of Anna, TX; her grandchildren, Jayson Wehrend, Kyle Wehrend, Angie Besel, Krista Phipps, Brian Besel, Joshua Wehrend, Jordan Winquist and Justin Wehrend; and her great grandchildren, Connor Phipps, Lillian Phipps, Aza Wehrend and Luke Besel.
