He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Charlie" Smith and Leona Smith (Houba). He is survived by: his wife Tammy Henson (Henke) of Glen Carbon, IL; his daughters, Kelly Rae of Beckemeyer, IL, Dana Sardigal (Kyle) of Caseyville, IL and Danielle Heffernan (Joseph) of Beckemeyer, IL; his stepchildren, Terianne Edwards of Glen Carbon, IL and Arthur Henson of Glen Carbon, IL; his brothers, Randy Smith of Glen Carbon, IL and Charles "Chuck" Smith (MaryAnn) of Bunker Hill, IL; and his grandchildren, Payton, Tyler and Alexandra. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or the Glen Carbon American Legion.
