With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald R. Daley of Glen Carbon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Donald had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Donald may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Daley and Lena Daley (Komnick); and his former wife Hazel Goode. He is survived by: his wife Carlene Knoche Daley of Glen Carbon, IL; his daughters, Kathy O'Donnell (Paul) of St. Peters, MO and Patti Kupfer (David) of Wildwood, MO; and his stepchildren, Cheryl Knoche of Springfield, IL and Charles Knoche (Karen) of Dorchester, IL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kravanya Funeral Home (875 S Washington St, Bunker Hill, IL 62014). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
