We bid farewell to Gerold Thomas Myatt of Glen Carbon, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Gerold touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey Myatt and Jesse Pace; his son Michael Myatt; and his sister Faye Irwin. He is survived by: his children, Gerold Myatt II and MacyAnne A. Myatt; the mother of his children Heather Myatt; his children, Cindy Doerr (Duane), Darin Dawson (Beverly), Melissa Rogier (Matt) and Jason Myatt (Shelby); his sister Marcia Weeks; and his pets, Beamer and Juni. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In honor of his giving nature, memorial contributions may be made to the Oakbridge Development Center and will be accepted at the funeral chapel. Keep Gerold Thomas "Jerry" Myatt's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
