He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry W. Dohle, Jr. and Louise J. Dohle (Vanzo); his brother Henry W. Dohle III; his parents-in-law, Richard (Dick) and Jackie Kleinschmidt of Florissant, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Capstick of Jonesburg, MO and Steven Kleinschmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dohle (Kleinschmidt); his son James J. Dohle, Jr. of St. Charles, MO; his cousin Vickie Vanzo Stassi; and his brother-in-law David Capstick of Jonesburg, MO. He is also survived by cousins, several nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; in addition to his many friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weber & Rodney Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Edwardsville, IL 62025). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
