He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schuessler and Helen Schuessler (Bowser); his former wife Sue Schuessler; his daughter Julie Schuessler; and his siblings, Janice, Howard, Paul and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl A. Schuessler (Kienle); his daughter Lori Crowson of Bethalto; and his sister Pat Farley of Godfrey. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
