She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Buss and Maria Buss (Bosslet); her husband Vernon "Lee" Roney; her son Robert L. Roney; her grandchildren, Nicholas Roney and Brooke Burkhardt; her sister Inga Modric; and her daughter-in-law Billie Jean Roney.
She is survived by: her children, Roger H. Roney (Maggie) of Marine, IL, Steven J. Roney (Shelley) of Edwardsville, IL, Barbara E. Roney (Deb Goskie), Nancy M. Byrd (Randy) of Edwardsville, IL and Christine R. Woll (Ryan) of Edwardsville, IL; her grandchildren, Brent Roney, Lisa Gates, Jessica Bryd, Caitlin Tirey, Jake Woll, Josh Roney, Zoe Roney and Nathan Roney; and her sister Hannelore Kohlenberger. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
