She was predeceased by: her parents, James Raymond McIntyre and Eleanor Claire Meyrose; her former husband Walt Aerne; her son Dean Aerne; and her grandson Shane Aerne.

She is survived by: her children, Jorja Dickemann (Kent), Jo Aerne, Debra Aerne (Kris Loewe) and David Aerne (Melissa); her grandchildren, Nathan Dickemann, Meagan Holmes (Brent), Clayton Dickemann (Katie), Dane Aerne-Moore and Caleb Tucker-Loewe (Lexi Green); and her great grandchildren, Margo, Desmond, James, Hailey and Hugo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (591 Glen Crossing Rd, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (155 N Main St, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
