She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Leo and Bernice Beans (Fairy); her husband Sonny Samuel Hampton; her son Roger Hampton; and her siblings, Shirley Doome and Stanley Beans Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Sheree Blow of Missouri, Mark LaPlantz of Millstadt, Patricia Johnson of Glen Carbon and Jennifer Lewis (Quintin) of Glen Carbon; her grandchildren, Mark James LaPlantz Jr., Rachel Blow, Luke Blow, Christopher Johnson, Alicia James, Ashley Harris, Antonio McKinney, Taeya Lewis and Jayden Lewis; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Logan, Neriah, Maddox, Aminah, Aaliyah, An-Nur and Amelia; her niece Denise Hayden; and her nephews, Bryan Hayden and Christopher Hayden.

Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Edwardsville.
