It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Lee Malench (Glen Carbon, Illinois), born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Malench and Violet Malench (Sack); his son Kenneth Malench; and his sisters, Dorothy Raftery, Alvera Eggley, Ann Mason, Barbara Dombrosky and Josephine Graham.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Malench (Rowlett); his sons, Keith Malench (Maureen Manton) of Glen Carbon, Terry Malench of Tarpon Springs and Robert Malench (Karyn) of Highland Park, Illinois; his grandchildren, Alex Malench and Selene Malench; and his sister Norma Hurlbrink of Maryville. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the N.A.M.I. National Alliance for Mental Illness or to VITAS Hospice and may be accepted at the funeral home.
