He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman O. Brooks and Dora Brooks Welch (Gordon); and his siblings, Larry Brooks, Shirley Paschedag, Frieda Honnican, Joyce Walliser and Thelma Findley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Brooks (McDowell); and his sister-in-law Elon Brooks of Caseyville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jesus Ministries Church (3950 Horseshoe Lake Rd, Pontoon Beach, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
