With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vernice Brelig Jung of Glen Carbon, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Vernice left this world on April 21, 2026 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brelig and Laura Brelig; her husband Loren Jung; her sons, James Loren Jung and Thomas Loren Jung; and her sister Elvera Rathert (Willard).
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Smolak (Paul) and Kay Kinder (Charles); her grandchildren, Katie Smolak (Terrence McKinnies), Michael Kinder, Molly Kinder, Matthew Kinder (Madyson) and Stephen Jung; her great grandchild Zayden Jung; and her brother George Brelig (Pat). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
