She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Allain and Caroline Allain; her former husband Joseph, Sr.; and her brothers, Albert and Paul Allain.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Joe DiGiovanna, Jr. (Lucy), Cathy Yaniz (Jim) and Julie; her grandchildren, Emily, Matthew and Jackson; and her close friends, Mary Ann Dallas and David Johnston. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James the Apostle Catholic Church (480 S Park Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Lighthouse Hospice of Downers Grove, IL (https://www.lighthousehospice.com) are preferred.
