Hays of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, born in Buffalo, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Marie (Nilan); his daughter Linda Hays; his parents, Joseph Hays and Eileen Hays; and his siblings, Joseph Hays (Bud) of Buffalo, NY, Bob Hays of Houston, TX and Noreen McCarthy of Columbus, OH..
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Holbrook, Joseph Hays (Julie Miller-Hays), Laura Hays, Ann Hiltenbrand (Mike Hiltenbrand) and Noreen Hays (John Morissette); and his grandchildren, Devin, Collin, Brenden, Kailey, Nolan, Connor, Riley and Karina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
