He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jean Berg Hardy; his children, Debbie Ruckstaetter (John), Doug Hardy (Wendy), David Hardy (Jennifer) and Dan Hardy (Venessa); his grandchildren, Alex Ruckstaetter (Katelyn), Tyler Ruckstaetter, Sam Hardy (Eaden), Owen Hardy, Anne Thorson (Ben), Caroline, Kathryn, Elizabeth Hardy, Elliot, Jasper, Oliver and Vivienne Hardy; his great grandchildren, Abel, Norris Hardy and Elsie Thorson; his brother John Wells Hardy of Mark's Yard; his sister-in-law Marilyn Berg Casazza; his sibling's children, Audra Christensen (Jim), Gina Volpe (Tom) and Keith Casazza (B. K.); and his parents, Roger Douglas and Lillian Widmar Hardy.
