With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marilyn Folkers Waters of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, born in Melrose Park, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Folkers and Janet Folkers; her brothers, Jack Folkers and Robert Folkers; and also Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Brownson (Douglas), David Waters (Helen) and Jeffrey Waters (Patricia); her grandchildren, Richard, Jenny, Rebecca, Sarah and Gregory; her great grandchildren, Sage, Shane, Jayton and Olivia; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Folkers and Mary Ann Folkers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Elmhurst Presbyterian Church (367 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A reception will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Pines Golf Club (500 W Jefferson St, Bensenville, IL 60106).
