Mark leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mark’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mark will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Carlson (Pat) and Virginia Carlson (Whitney); and his sisters, Cindy and Karin. He is survived by: his son David; his granddaughters, Kaylee and Taylor; and his sisters, JoAnne Marshall (late Dale) and Nancy McGinn (Rick). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Highpoint Church (1310 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel Hill Gardens West (17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181).
