He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Pinkston and Lorraine Pinkston of Lombard; and his brother Carl "Jay" Pinkston. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, James, Jenelle and Rachel; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Chloe and Isaiah; his great grandchildren, Paxton Marie and Blakely Ann; and his sisters, Kimberly and Denise "Denny" Pinkston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Steuerle Chapel (15 W Park Blvd, Villa Park, IL 60181). The lying in state will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (215 S Lincoln Ave, Lombard, IL 60148). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
