She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Shanks; and her great-grandparents, Charlie, Emma Ortmann and Mia Glawe (Bradley). She is survived by: her children, Paula Ortmann (Charlie), Tracey Glawe (Jeff) and Brad Shanks (Betsy); and her grandchildren, Kyle Ortmann (Bridget), Tyler Shanks (Jessica), Kit Ortmann (Stephanie), Greg Glawe (Sarah), Brooke Besancenez (Beau) and Daver Glawe (Olivia).
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Leonard's Funeral Home (565 Duane St, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137).
