He is survived by: his children, Melissa Vald (Boris) of Glen Ellyn, IL and Courtney Pientka (Scott) of Copperhill, TN; his grandchildren, McKenzie and Brighton Vald; and his brothers, Donald Diebold of Scottsdale, AZ, Terrence Diebold (Mary) of Downers Grove, IL and Steve Diebold (Cynthia) of Plainfield.
