He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Mary C. Follmer. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Weigel (Holmes); his children, Gary Weigel (Linda), Susan Scott, Holly Fels (Jason) and Amy Olcott (Chris); his grandchildren, Ryan Scott (Sara), Kevin Scott (Dominique), Timothy Scott (Nico Norena), Megan Kliethermes (Cody), Braden Fels, Jack Fels, Kaitlyn Fels, Amanda Olcott, Ashley Olcott and Chase Olcott; his great grandchildren, Eddie and Lola Scott; and his stepchildren, H. Brennon Holmes (Carolyn) and Michael Holmes (Kathleen). He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union League Boys and Girls Clubs (https://ulbgc.org); Lake Forest College; or the University of Michigan Law School for student aid—causes close to Ray's heart.
