He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene Philipps; his parents, George Philipps and Josephine Philipps; his brothers, Gerald and Larry Philipps; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Mordi and Kenneth Sendre.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Racine (Michael) and Julie Stobierski (Donn); his grandchildren, Carter, Roger, Rachel Stobierski, Grant and Megan Racine; his sister Karen Mordi; and his in-laws, Ronald Sendre (Beth) and Diana Sendre.
