Zlata Balon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zlata Balon of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pavel Macúch and Emilia Macúchová; and her husband Dr. Kornel Balon. She is survived by: her children, Robert Balon (Alice), Dr. Kornel Balon (Katy), Edward Balon (Alicia) and Susan Hermsen (Matthew); her grandchildren, Lucas, James, Finn, Emily, Abigail, Kayleigh, Kendall, Alexander, Eli, Noah and Cate; and her brother Miroslav Macúch (Blažena). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
