He was predeceased by: his parents, Hallye Halford and Eva Yeaman Halford. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, John Halford (Bridget) of Chatham and Barbara Hedinger (Steve) of Chatham; his grandchildren, Rick Halford (Casie), Sarah Halford (Brett Crudgington), Hallie Hedinger (Chad Lahnum), Hannah Hedinger (Sean Paul) and Grace Hedinger; his great grandchildren, Arianna, Callan, Jacob and Emmett; his sister Bonnie Wagner (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Karl Curby (Barb) and Joanne Curby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sugar Creek United Methodist Church (1022 New City Rd, Chatham, IL 62629). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
