Sherry J. Powers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherry J. Powers of Glenarm, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sherry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sherry farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Harriell and Patricia Anderson Harriell; and her husband Tom. She is survived by: her sons, Derek Powers (Theresa) of Springfield and Spencer Powers of Springfield; her grandchildren, Aiden, Cole and Alexis Gorden (Clint); and her sister Vicky Matthews of Springfield. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
