Thomas A. Powers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas A. Powers of Glenarm, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Powers and Marion Bell Powers; and his siblings, Pete, John, James, Jackie Southard and Peggy Carvalho.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry J. Harriell of Glenarm; his sons, Derek Powers (Theresa) of Springfield and Spencer Powers (Angie) of Springfield; his grandsons, Aiden and Cole; and his siblings, Tyrone Powers of North Carolina and Judith Monahan (James) of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
