We announce the death of Marvin Herman (Glencoe, Illinois), who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 86. Marvin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marvin will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Marvin’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his brother Burton Herman. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Jacqueline Chilow (Steven) and Michelle Herman; and his grandchildren, Alex (Juliana), Daniel (Brigid), Lauren (Adam), Lucas and Natasha. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
