He was predeceased by : his wife Caroline; and his brothers, Richard and Dave. He is survived by : his children, Michael Balmes (Kelli) and Nancy Miklautsch (Bruce); his grandchildren, Tyler, Conor (Alexis), Andrew, Adam Balmes, Yvonne Macias (Mike), Henry, Madeline and Ben Miklautsch; and his brother Walter.
