He was predeceased by : his parents, Julia Willagara and Harry Sandberg; his sister Charlotte; his grandson Tony; and his siblings-in-law, Mary and Andrew Capra.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Jean; his sons, Andrew (Jill), Anthony and Mark; and his grandchildren, Eric (Jenny), Dana, Lauren and Jessica.
