We are sad to announce that, on January 31, 2026, at the age of 71, Mark L. Funk of Glendale Heights, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mark may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Funk and Jean Funk; his brother David Funk; his half-brother Matt Funk; and his stepbrother Joseph Funk.
He is survived by: his brother Martin Funk (Sheila) of Glendale Heights; and his stepsister Jennifer Lester.
