Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home & CemeteryRonald Edward Krech, 82 of Glendale Heights, Illinois, formerly of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away September 16, 2025. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather and veteran of the Vietnam War. He was cherished by all who knew him. His most treasured accomplishment was the family he created with his beloved wife Donna (Lynch); his four sons, Ronald Jr (Jill), Patrick (Sanah), Randy (Alysa) and Kevin (Frances).

He is additionally survived by his grandchildren Taylor (Jon Graves), Madison, Adam, Malik, Aiden, Halla, Jackson, Jordan, Hunter, Henry and Rhett. Preceded in death by his parents Rendall and Margaret as well as his brothers Larry (Peggy) and Donald.

There will be no public services. A private family funeral will take place in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Disabled Veterans of America http://www.dav.org.
