Though Arun may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arun touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hemantha Surath and Lisa Surath; and his sister Samantha Surath.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserves, to help maintain and preserve this special place that he greatly cherished.
