She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Mason; her parents, Howard Kaerwer and Ada Kaerwer; her brother Bud; and her grandson Nicholas Mason Shay.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynne Mason Shay (Ron), Lisa Mason Ganfield (Ed Vesely) and Julie Mason Beja (Todd); and her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Ganfield, Lindsay Ganfield Barrios (Drew), Peter Ganfield, Maddie Beja, Joe Beja and Kate Beja.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be mailed to the Bright Futures Foundation, 2500 Indigo Lane, Glenview IL 60026. Bright Futures is a non-profit charity assisting Vi employees with educational learning and related activities.
