It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francine Maria Friedman (Glenview, Illinois), who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Francine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Francine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Friedman; her parents, James A. Pappadis and Frances Pappadis; and her siblings, Constance P. Lewis and Thomas Pappadis.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Freed and Mark Friedman (Sung Yun); and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence P. Lewis and Hershy Pappadis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (1104 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
