He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Hillsman and Frances Hillsman; his wives, Carole Hillsman and Mary Lou O'Toole; and his siblings, Virginia Keleher and William.
He is survived by: his children, Mary (Brian Weberg), Jean Ferrara (late Timothy), Rich (Teresa Hedden), Peter (Richard Blasey) and Steve (Kathleen); his sister Rosemary Whitmore; John, Mark, Matthew, Patrick, Margaret and Mary. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 ½ great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
