He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Blake and Mary Alice Walker. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Nelson Walker; his children, Kathryn Walker Theis (Roger), Karen Walker, Robert Walker and Scott Walker (Molly); and his brothers, Howard Walker and Timothy Walker (Sandy). He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Herbert E. Walker to Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
