Irene leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Irene’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Overman and Laura Edith Overman (Sharp); her husband Henry Blackstone Kreer; and her daughters, Laurene Kreer and Linda Kreer Witt.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Laura Witt and Thomas Witt; and her great grandchildren, Lillian and Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Glenview Community Church (1000 Elm St, Glenview, IL 60025). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
