James L. Barrett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Barrett of Glenview, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Brigid "Della" Barrett and Thomas B. Barrett; and his siblings, Nancy, Mary and Edward.

He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas (Nancy), Anthony (Patricia) and Suzanne. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
