He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Bernhart; his daughter Ann Mary Bernhart; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Hurley (Karen), Chari Hurley, William Hurley and George Hurley Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, George Bernhart (Stephanie) and Daniel Bernhart (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Allison, J. C. (Tiffany), Jesse, Nash, Charlie, Jack and Henry Bernhart; and his great grandchildren, Maggie and Charlotte Bernhart.
