James Edward Masterson Obituary

We announce the death of James Edward Masterson (Glenview, Illinois), born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 85. James Edward will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elaine Masterson (Dumich); his children, Maggie (Priscilla), Jim (Beth), Amy and Katie Masterson; and his grandchildren, Emelia, Aidan, Phineas Gleber, Vera, Bella, Maeve, Seamus and Mickey Masterson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at 1775 Grove St, Glenview, IL 60025. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
