He is survived by: his sons, Denis Flynn, Edward Flynn (Carol), Desmond Flynn (Gretchen) and Neal Flynn (Sarah); his grandchildren, Angela Plantz (Shaun), Madalyn Flynn, James Flynn (Molly), Patrick Flynn (Kim), Lucas Flynn, Colin and Timothy Flynn; his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Morgan Flynn; his sibling Hanna-Mai Allman; his sister-in-law Bridget Farrell; and his girlfriend Marilyn Mallek.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine Laboure (3535 Thornwood Ave, Glenview, IL 60026). A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
