With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joan O'Keefe of Glenview, Illinois, whose life came to an end on October 10, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon Robert; her son Dennis; her grandson Daniel; and her siblings, Mary (late John), James (late Kitty), Francis and Catherine (late Richard).
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Edward, Patrick, Timothy (Laurie), Mary Walsh (John), Kathleen O'Neill (Larry) and Eileen Reisel (Bob); her grandchildren, Christine (Brian), Brian (Deb), Emily (Chris), Frank (Jaclyn), Eileen, Erin (Frank), Maureen (Donato), Megan (Drew), Colin, Katherine (Evan), Patrick (Abigail), Sean (Marisa), Allison, Johnny, Margaret (Brendan) and Vincent; her great grandchildren, Mady, Ava, Aoife, Tessa, Thomas, Haley, George, Cora, Joanna, Olivia, Dorothy, William, Riley and Jackson; her sister Alice (late Cy); and her caregiver Joan. She is also survived by her many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Isaac Jogues Church (8149 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714).
