JoAnne S. Ahern Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to JoAnne S. Ahern of Glenview, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. JoAnne left this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Ahern, Sr.; her parents, Frank Gillespie and Margaret Gillespie; and her siblings, Frank J. Gillespie, Marie Egan (Robert) and Sarah Gentile (Bill).

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Kelly), James Jr. (Vickie), Marianne Burke (Kevin), Daniel and Patrick Ahern (Georgia); her grandchildren, James III, Michael, Shannon, Colleen, Daniel, Megan, Robert Ahern, Thomas J. "T. J." (Morgan) and Sean Gosse; and her great grandchild Bo Gosse.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish (1775 Grove St, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
