He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Breen and Kathryn Breen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Leahy Breen; his son Sean Richard Breen; his sister-in-law Eileen Leahy Elenz; his nieces and nephews, Thomas Francis Elenz (Bernice) and James Patrick Elenz; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley Shields (Robert), Sarah, Samantha and Ryan Elenz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish (1775 Grove St, Glenview, IL 60025).
