We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2025, at the age of 98, Katie Helfrich (Glenview, Illinois), born in Ackley, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Hale and Edith Symington Hale; her brother Dr. Don Hale (Henrietta); her brother-in-law George Helfrich; her children, Steve (Jeanne), Gene Patty (Chris) and Mary; her grandchildren, Todd (Sarah), Ben (Christynne), Dan Helfrich (Raelyn) and Amy Adams (Carl); her great grandchildren, Madeleine, Haley, Caroline Helfrich, Henry, Cooper, Elliott, CJ Armstrong, Charlie, Mackenzie Adams, AJ, Jo Helfrich, Clark and Rita Lange; her sibling's children, Nancy, Tom and Bill Hale; and her granddaughter Casey.
