He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Spalding and Eleonora Spalding (Barth); his former wife Patricia; his sister Mary Picchi; and his grandson Steven.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Tom (Carol Brown), Mart Jr. (Judi), Jim (Karin), Mary (Mark Lazar), Martha, Michael (Mikaela), Joanne and John; and his stepdaughter Tessy Aly (Santiago). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
