As we bid adieu to Ofelio's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ofelio has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria; his children, Henry Torres (Stephanie), Aurora Cazares (Jose) and Judy Torres; and his grandsons, Henry Ofelio Torres, Jose Rosario III and Javier Enrique Cazares.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (1104 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1747 Lake Ave, Wilmette, IL 60091). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
